2 Good News Minute!

We are buying a house!

Tucson is a tricky place to buy a home because of the zoning and we've been searching high and low, since April, for a house that would fit all the criteria we had. Back in August, we walked into this home with our real estate agent and after the walk through, Sean and I looked at each other and at the same time said, "I love it!" We put our offer in that afternoon and in less than 12 hours, it was accepted. But then came the wait.... the last 8 weeks have felt like forever, waiting for everything to be approved and all the steps that you must take. A few weeks ago we got a call that we had been approved by the seller's bank and in 34 days, if the inspection and all those other tricky steps went well, we'd be in.

Who knew there were sooo many things involved with buying a home? I've never signed so many documents in my life!
