8 I'm on the Bachelor

This is my boyfriend, Sean.
You might've seen him on The Bachelor this season.
Last week was really scary because it was the hometown date episode and we went to Arizona to stay with his family.
He still picked me.
Phew.

Sean is fun. He always plans cool Bachelor dates. Yesterday, we went ice fishing.

He ripped apart little squiggly worms and minnows and put them on my hook because that is the most disgusting thing of all time and I would never touch that.

It was very cold. All you could see for forever was white.

I was a snow bunny. Hello.

I thought my hands were going to freeze and I would never have feeling in them ever again so I put them in his armpits. He thought his feet were going to fall off so I sat on them for him. It's love.

We ended the night hanging out with our good friends Allison, Sam and baby Eleanor watching fireworks and making s'mores over a firepit. In Sean's own words, it was the "perfect end, to a perfect Bachelor date." (Sean thinks the Bachelor is a very good show and very realistic.)

Sean is cool because we always go on fun dates and he makes me try new things and we don't sit around and watch tv and we laugh everyday because Sean is very funny. Oh, and Sean deserves a major shout out because he found out this week he got into med school. #smartypants

Stay tuned.

  1. Hilarious! Love the armpit/feet "it's love" thingy! Love your writing. Love that Sean is Sean...so very perfect this season. Love that you got a rose on the hometown date...etc, etc. But LOVE you MOST!

  3. You always make me laugh. But all laughs aside, this is such a cute post! I hope you get the final rose, and maybe some Neil Lane bling?! ;)

  4. He's a cutie :) And I'm so glad to see that you're opening up and really making yourself vulnerable for him. Gotta put yourself out there and take a risk. Plus taking chances and trying new things because what kind of marriage could possibly be successful if you don't do crazy life-threatening stunts while you are still dating? Maybe you should also let him blindfold you and lead you around so that you can prove that you trust him.
And hopefully no one reading that will think I am serious, but if you do, I am just throwing out all the Bachelor stereotypes. I disagree with everything I just said.
