3 wrapping up az

Wow, can't believe I'm about to cover Arizona in only three blog posts. So much happened while I was there, but I would hate to bore the 2 people that actually look at my blog (thanks mom & grandmother).

Item number one: I must be an idiot, but until two years ago, I honestly believed cactus only got to be about 2 or 3 feet tall. I was wrong. People have these things as plants in their yard. So funny. This just freaked me out. Sara's dad has saved the scorpions he found in their house over the last year in their garage. (And then when I started telling my Arizona friends about the ticks I got at home over the summer, they FREAKED. In my book though, scorpions = wayyyy groddier than ticks.)
HAH! So, Sara decides to tell me that these "jumping cactus" are attracted to body heat and if you get too close they jump off and attach themselves to you. Still don't know if I believe that one. Every time I got close she'd be like, "DANI, I'M SERIOUS! GET AWAY!" Whatevaaaa.

We were busy bees every night. There was a lot of fun things to fit in during our short time there.

One night we got home at like 3am. I'm not the party animal I used to be so I fell asleep in the back of the car. This was taken right when I woke up & I laughed for 10 minutes when I saw it the next morning. Oh my.
Our freshman boys are back. This is a good thing.

Sara had these elephant figurines on her fireplace mantel & they were so real, it looked like they were just going to walk right off. It was stressing me out so I turned them the other way. We were laughing.Rock Band: I'm bad. Tried to tell Sara & Ben this and they thought I was being modest. Ummm....
We were going to leave Sunday, but ended up staying an extra day and left Arizona midday Monday. I was not excited to come back at all.
Arizona is NOTHING like where I'm from.
Finally made it back to good ole Provo.
